Art in Flight
The Lee County Port Authority takes great pride in showcasing Southwest Florida artists and their work for the traveling public. Art in Flight is a partnership between the Lee County Alliance for the Arts and Lee County Port Authority, which brings art to the public spaces at Southwest Florida International Airport.

Location: Upper level, hallways leading to the B and D Concourses
In recent years, it has become increasingly important for all of us to celebrate, value and strengthen our connections to each other and the world around us. Artists were asked to create work for this exhibition that explores the idea of connection. The display features 28 pieces of artwork in the mediums of oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, collage and photography.
Alan S. Maltz
Location: Throughout terminal
Alan Maltz has been designated the "Official Fine Art Photographer for the State of Florida" by VISIT FLORIDA and "The Official Wildlife Photographer of Florida" by the Wildlife Foundation of Florida. His images capture the history and charm of old Fort Myers and the hidden treasures of the barrier islands, as well as regional destinations including Bonita Springs, Boca Grande and Cayo Costa. Sixty limited-edition large format (72 inch by 52 inch) prints are on rotating display throughout Southwest Florida International Airport.
