Hombre is a multimedia sculpture constructed of 60 painted vinyl records joined together with plastic straps. Separately each record is its own work of art. Together, you can see the form of a man within the joined pieces.

Kellum, a local artist, features her knowledge and skill of fabric and textile design in her multimedia quilt sculpture created from vinyl records and album covers.
The Guardian of Vinyl

Location: Upper level, East Atrium, near Door 2
Jackson showcases his gift for using ordinary and recyclable materials to achieve extraordinary results. The 17-foot multimedia robot sculpture made from vinyl records and album covers symbolizes the end of the vinyl record era. The sculpture won "Best in Show" of the Turn, Turn, Turn: The synthesis of Vinyl into Art in April 2010.

"Music connects us all, whether we realize it or not." Weiss shares her viewpoint through this multimedia sculpture of a map of the world, made with vinyl records and wire. The sculpture won first place in the college division of Turn, Turn, Turn: The synthesis of Vinyl into Art in April 2010.
